The past year...

...has gone by so fast! My daughter will be 4 1/2 next month, my son will be 3 in September & we're expecting another girl by the end of August! HOLY COW! So I've been keeping pretty busy lately. My wonderful mother took the kids for the week so I decided to catch up on this blog, not to mention I just got my computer back. It has been down for quite sometime now. Here are some things I've done!

This is a cute headband I knitted first. Then I taught myself how to knit flowers & decided to add it on & thught it was super cute! :)
This is my beautiful daughter Madelyn who I knitted a pink headband for. :)
 Baseball Hat
 Football Hat
(These are both 0-12 months, but I can make them bigger if needed)

The "RAM" (initials) hat was made for a mother to be & is also size 0-12 months. The "MJ"(again, initials) was made for a little girl & is size 12-18 months. These pictures also show that I taught myself "duplicate stitching, which is adding a different color/letters to a piece to finish it off.
Shows progress of the knitted flower..
The finished flower which is also the one I used on the headband above!

So, as you can see I have been busy teaching myself a few things. I do have more to come! I'm very busy with the kids and now I'm about to have a third! Am I crazy? I think I might be a little :)

Bows

All my bows are done in Seed Stitch used with size 8 US or 9 US needles. Enjoy! :)

Scarves

Here are two scarves I did earlier this month that people ordered through my Facebook page! :) Note: The green knitting from my title page is from an actual scarf I made for my cousin for Christmas last year!

I'm still learning, but have learned so much in the last month! I will try to post here often and eventually will start posting patterns. I don't think I mentioned I am a stay at home mom of 2 monsters so they keep me pretty busy!!! :)

Also, always feel free to e-mail me at KnitMeSomethingCute@gmail.com if you have any questions! Like I said I'm still new, but I'm teaching myself & pretty motivated to learn lots of stuff.

Things I'm working on right now:

(1) A knitted pink scarf, just like the purple one above
(2) My first adult sized hat
(3) A football knitted baby hat

Please look forward me posting about these! Meanwhile check out my bows!

New Hooby

September of 2011 I decided to teach myself how to knit & it worked! I started knitting scarf after scarf after scarf...I became so bored with it and stopped for about a year. This past October I decided to get back into it! I made a Facebook page & called it "Knit Me Something Cute" and it got way more attention then I expected. People started asking what I could make which wasn't much. So in the last 3 weeks I have learned so much more and now I am having the best time making bows, hats & learning new things! :) Here are some of the things I've made.

These cute little bows were my inspiration :)
Someone asked if I made baby hats so I taught myself that night & this was my first one!
Then someone asked if I could make a girl one :) I had to add the signature bow!
